Project Overview
This design brings resort-style tropical living to a modern home in Sugar Land, with (3) distinct bodies of water: a main pool, a front fountain with 11’ tall water walls and an indoor jacuzzi.
Warm wood decking surrounds the geometric pool, with a sunken lounge for conversation and a shaded cabana framed by palms. The signature element is a trio of stone fountain columns rising from a reflecting pool. Each column is crowned with a palm, and uplighting makes the whole group glow at night.
Lush planting and layered levels give the space a private, vacation-like feel.
The Challenge
Install a 25’ plexiglass pool beam over a large 2-story home, less than 2’ from the face of the house.
What We Did
For this custom pool feature, we rented a 150’ crane to lift the heavy panel over the home and drop it into place. Now, when anyone walks into the entryway, they can look straight into the side of the illuminated pool beam.
