Project Overview

This long, lap-friendly pool runs the length of a private, tree-lined backyard in Bunker Hill. Deep-blue glass-tile lane lines and waterline tile give the water a crisp, finished look, and a raised spa with a tiled spillover wall pours into the pool.

Composite deck steps lead down to the water, and a soft turf lawn sits alongside. A horizontal-slat privacy fence and a pergola frame the space, making it as good for morning laps as for weekend lounging.

The Challenge

Fit a lap pool, a jumping pad for the kids, multiple water features, fire, a volleyball net and a tanning ledge into one backyard, and make it all look good together.

What We Did

We raised the lap pool so it creates a 30’ vanishing edge overflow into the main pool. For the kids, we added a jumping rock with a rain curtain they can jump through.

Fire and lighted bubblers add to the night ambiance, along with a spa trickle into the main water feature. These pool water features give the backyard something to enjoy from morning laps to late evenings.
