Project Overview
This backyard in Hockley is designed to be seen at twilight. A stucco pavilion with a steel-louvered roof sits on axis with the home. Its columns hold glowing fire niches, and a rain curtain falls between them into the pool.
The long geometric pool and spa are surrounded by large-format pavers, and stepping pads cross the manicured lawn. Tall pines tower over the whole scene, which feels like a private resort when the lights come up.
The Challenge
The project had multiple elevation changes, fire columns inside structures and detailed tile designs.
What We Did
As a custom pool builder, we only use one tile installer for all of our projects. This makes sure our standards of quality and the details in each design are followed on every project, in exactly the same way.
It takes stress off our clients and designers, and it is why work like the fire columns, elevation changes and detailed tile in this Hockley backyard turns out so well.
